Covid-19 Procedures & Policy

During these difficult and uncertain times presented to us by the Covid-19 pandemic, we have had to adapt our services and amend our policies where possible to bring re-assurance and clarity to our Clients. A thorough risk assessment was conducted at the start of lockdown and a thorough list of procedures established to assist in reducing the risks to a minimal of contracting and spreading Covid.

Covid-19 Health & Safety Procedures

Prior to your trial

Glamour Brides will be in contact 2 weeks before your appointment with a reminder of the date and time of your trial. Aside from our usual instructions we will also ask you in our email a few Covid related questions:

  • Whether you or anyone in your immediate bubble has had a fever, cough or a loss of smell/taste in the last 14 days
  • Whether you or anyone in your Bridal party has had a fever, cough or a loss of smell/taste in the last 14 days
  • Whether you or anyone receiving our services at trial has been in contact with any person who has had a fever, cough or a loss of smell/taste in the last 14 days.

Any persons within the trial party that answer yes to any of the above questions will not be able to receive services from us at trial and an alternative appointment will have to be arranged.

We will check with our team and go through the same questions. Should your stylist/artist answer yes to any of the above questions then either an alternative stylist which can answer no to the above will be provided in their stead OR an alternative trial date will be arranged.

On the day of your trial (At the door)

On the day of your trial when your stylist/artist arrives either at our salon/your address OR an alternative suitable location, you will be asked the same questions that were asked via email 2 weeks prior to your appointment and requested to fill in a checklist. Your temperature and that of your stylist/artist will be taken before entering at the door. Should either you, someone receiving a trial in your party or your stylist have above 38 degrees of temperature then the appointment will be cancelled. A new alternative appointment will be arranged a minimum of 14 days later.

Hand sanitizer will be provided for you to use and your party by your stylist/artist at the door.

Should you or any person that received our services at trial contract symptoms of Covid-19 including but not limited to a fever, a continuos cough and a loss of smell/taste up to 14 days AFTER your trial, we request that you let us know as soon as possible. If you are able to provide us with the information of whether that individuals Covid test was negative or positive we would be very grateful as this assists us in tracking and tracing.

Should your stylist/artist contract any symptoms related to Covid-19 then they will automatically undergo a Covid test of which the results will be notified to you via email, text or WhatsApp.

On your event day

On the day of your event, when your stylist/artist arrives to prepare you at your house/venue, you will be asked to complete a disclosure form for you and all persons receiving our services similar to the form requested on your trial date at the door. Your stylist/artist will be wearing a face covering throughout your preparations and we will require the following commitment from you and persons in your party:
