Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Glamour Brides in relation to bridal hair styling, bridal makeup services, bridal trials and any related wedding or special occasion services. By submitting a booking form and paying the required deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

Payment of the deposit constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and forms a binding agreement between Glamour Brides and the client named on the booking form.

Booking and Deposit

Your wedding or event date will be secured once Glamour Brides has received the required deposit payment. The deposit consists of the full value of the bridal trial together with 20% of the remaining total for wedding day services. Where a bridal trial is not booked, a deposit of 40% of the total booking value will be required.

The deposit paid to secure the wedding date is non-refundable. This deposit reserves the date exclusively for your booking and prevents other clients from securing the same date.

Booking Form Validity

Booking forms issued by Glamour Brides remain valid for five working days from the date they are sent. If the deposit is not received within this time period, Glamour Brides reserves the right to release the proposed date and issue a revised quotation if required. Prices and availability may change after the original quotation period has expired.

Final Payment

The remaining balance for wedding day services must be paid no later than two weeks (10 working days) prior to the wedding date. Glamour Brides does not offer credit facilities.

The person named on the booking form is responsible for ensuring full payment is made, including collecting any monies owed by members of the bridal party or other individuals included within the booking.

Bridal Trials

Bridal trials are arranged in advance of the wedding day to design and refine the final bridal look. Trial appointments are payable in advance.

If a trial appointment is cancelled with at least 48 hours’ notice, the trial fee may be refunded or transferred to a new appointment date where availability allows. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in the trial fee being retained.

Cancellation by the Client

If a client cancels the booking after the deposit has been paid, the deposit remains non-refundable.

Where cancellation occurs after the final payment has been made, Glamour Brides reserves the right to retain additional payments depending on the notice period provided before the wedding date.

Where possible, the following cancellation structure may apply:

If cancellation occurs more than 12 weeks before the wedding date, Glamour Brides will retain the deposit only.

If cancellation occurs between 12 weeks and 4 weeks before the wedding date, up to 50% of the total booking value may be retained.

If cancellation occurs less than 4 weeks before the wedding date, the full booking value may be retained.

This structure reflects the loss of business opportunities due to the date having been reserved.

Minimum Booking Requirements

Weekend wedding bookings may require a minimum booking of two adults receiving full hair and makeup services. Glamour Brides reserves the right to apply minimum booking values depending on the date, location or time of year.

Travel and Mileage

Travel within the first five miles of Glamour Brides’ base location is included within the service. Travel beyond five miles will be charged at a rate of £0.50 per mile.

Additional travel-related costs including parking fees, congestion charges, toll bridges, ferry crossings or other transport expenses required to reach the location will be added to the final invoice.

For destination weddings or locations requiring overnight accommodation, additional travel and accommodation costs may apply and will be agreed in advance.

Early Start Fee

Where services are required before 08:00am, an early start surcharge of £90.00 will apply. This fee reflects the extended working hours required to accommodate early ceremony schedules.

Changes to Booking

Should additional services be added to a booking after confirmation, the additional cost will be added to the final invoice.

Requests to reduce the number of services, clients or members of the bridal party after the booking has been confirmed remain at the discretion of Glamour Brides. Due to the date being reserved exclusively for the client, Glamour Brides may not be able to reduce the confirmed booking value.

Wedding Morning Preparation

Clients must provide a suitable workspace for the Glamour Brides team to perform services. This should include a clean, well-lit room with sufficient space for equipment and seating.

A single dedicated preparation room must be provided for the artists. Glamour Brides operates from a central preparation location and does not move equipment between rooms or locations once services have begun.

Delays

The client and bridal party are responsible for ensuring everyone receiving services is ready at their scheduled time.

If delays occur due to the bridal party, Glamour Brides reserves the right to shorten or simplify services in order to maintain the agreed schedule. Priority will always be given to the bride, followed by key members of the bridal party.

Service Guarantee

In the unlikely event that an assigned artist becomes unavailable due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, Glamour Brides will make every reasonable effort to provide a suitably qualified replacement artist.

If a suitable replacement cannot be arranged, Glamour Brides will provide a full refund for the affected services.

Photography and Media

Glamour Brides may capture photographs or video content during bridal trials or on the wedding day for use within its portfolio, website, marketing materials or social media platforms.

Glamour Brides may also share images captured by professional photographers where the work is properly credited.

If a client wishes for images or content not to be used, a written request must be submitted in advance by email to contact@glamour-brides.com.

Force Majeure

Glamour Brides shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performing services where such failure arises from circumstances beyond reasonable control. This may include but is not limited to severe weather conditions, transport disruptions, government restrictions, public emergencies or other unforeseen events.

Where such circumstances prevent the provision of services, Glamour Brides will make reasonable efforts to reschedule services or provide appropriate refunds where applicable.

Liability

Glamour Brides accepts no liability for allergic reactions to products used during services where clients have not disclosed relevant allergies or sensitivities prior to treatment. Clients are responsible for informing Glamour Brides of any medical conditions, allergies or sensitivities before services are carried out.

Limitation of Liability

Glamour Brides’ liability for any claim relating to services provided shall not exceed the total amount paid for those services.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

Glamour Brides reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time where required to reflect changes in law or business operations. The version of the Terms and Conditions in force at the time of booking will apply to the client’s booking.
